Member Benefits
Regional & Large-Scale Grants
As an IPA member, organizations gain exclusive access to regional and large-scale grant opportunities that may not be available to individual entities. By acting as a convener and coordinator, the IPA opens doors to regional initiatives that enhance member services, support community health goals, and advance innovative behavioral health programs. The IPA has processes and technology in place for collecting and reporting on these grant projects, helping members track progress on deliverables. Data collected on current projects has led to valuable insights that support data-informed decision-making and continuous improvement throughout each grant’s lifecycle. CBHN’s focus on data has led to the identification of additional community needs, resulting in additional funding for the network and its members.
Regional Leadership & CBHN Staff Expertise
IPA membership provides a valuable network of support, connecting members with both experienced leaders across the behavioral health field and knowledgeable CBHN staff. This combined expertise allows members to access guidance on emerging challenges, explore innovative strategies, and receive tailored support on urgent issues facing their organizations. This collaborative environment empowers members to make informed decisions and stay responsive to developments in behavioral health.
VBP Initiatives
IPA membership provides the chance to be involved in value-based payment (VBP) initiatives as they are developed, helping member organizations prepare for the shift to value-based care. The IPA’s strategic planning and insights on VBP can help ensure that members are well-positioned to deliver high-quality, cost-effective care that aligns with emerging payment models.
Training
IPA members receive access to a range of training sessions tailored to the legal and operational challenges faced by behavioral health organizations. Topics are selected based on member needs and can cover legal compliance, policy changes, and best practices to help ensure members are equipped to navigate evolving industry standards and regulations.
Network Data Analytics
IPA membership includes opportunities to engage in regional initiatives, such as the Behavioral Health Data and Analytics Collaborative (BHDAC). BHDAC participants will receive quarterly CQI reports for their organization as well as biannual regional and statewide reports. Organizations will gain population and programmatic insights, identify opportunities to maximize revenue, and stay connected with regional efforts aimed at improving behavioral health outcomes and service delivery.
Shared Management Services
IPA membership offers shared management services to help members streamline essential functions and reduce costs. While this program is still developing, our current focus is on enhancing information technology resources. Members currently have the option to sign on to a fully developed Cyber Security program allowing participating members to share costs for comprehensive protection that meets or exceeds industry standards. This service ensures that member organizations can access high-quality cybersecurity resources tailored to the unique needs of behavioral health providers and their organization specifically.
